Piedmont Typical Dishes:
Bagna cauda: The dish, served and consumed as if it was a fondue, is made with garlic, anchovies, olive oil, butter, and in some parts of the region cream. The dish is eaten by dipping raw, boiled or roasted vegetables, especially cardoon, celery, cauliflower, artichokes, peppers and onions;
Brasato al Barolo: calf meat cooked in the Barolo wine;
Risotto: Rice boiled in bouillon, flavoured with fried butter and a onion;
