Spend your holidays or weekends at the Garda Lake. In this Web portal you'll get information about well-known resorts and the best tourist accomodations, such as hotels, campings, residences, bed & breakfast and holiday villages at the lake Garda.

Lake Garda, at the feet of the Alps, is the largest lake in Italy. It covers part of the Veneto region (province of Verona), Lombardy region (province of Brescia) and Trentino Alto-Adige region (province of Trento). It is easily reachable from the main Northern Italy roads.

The Monte Baldo and the Pre-Alps protect the lake from the cold northern winds, so that Lake has a mild climate during the whole year, boasting a luxuriant Mediterranean vegetation. The Eastern coast of the lake is known as "Riviera degli Olivi" (olive trees Riviera), while in the Western coast, the name of the village "Limone del Garda" refers to the locally grown scented lemons.

Peschiera del Garda is well-known for its fun-fairs: Gardaland Canevaworld, "Parco Termale del Garda", "Parco Natura Viva", etc. Sirmione is one of the most visited lake resorts becuase of its beautiful walled historical centre and the "Grotte di Catullo", a perfect Romanic architecture. Desenzano, Padenghe, Moniga, San Felice del Benaco, Salò, Gardone Riviera (with the "Vittoriale", the house of the Italian writer Gabriele D'Annunzio), Toscolano Maderno, Gargnano, Campione, Limone, until Riva del Garda, the northest part of the lake. Riva del Garda and Torbole (both of them in the Trento province), in the last decades, have become popular for sailing, water skiing and surfing, because of the windy position and because motorboats cannot sail there. Heading south we head into Veneto and we find Malcesine (VR), well-known for its Castello Scaligeri, which has 13th-Century fortifications and an older medieval tower. Behind Malcesine rises the 1750m Montebaldo. Visitors today can reach the summit of Montebaldo by the funivia, or cable car. Montebaldo is a popular venue for various mountain sports, including mountain biking, skiing and paragliding. In the middle of the Garda easter coast there's Brenzone, with the nice little harbour; Torri del Benaco and its mild climate that makes it possible to cultivate olive trees;Garda , that gives the name to the lake, lays on a spectacular gulf conveying deep charm, between Punta San Vigilio and Baia delle Sirene. Bardolino, weel-known for its wine, is surrounded by sweet hills.Lazise, surrounded by Medieval city-walls, has a wonderful fortress "Rocca Scaligera".

The numerous Lake Garda hotels, guest houses, bed and breakfasts can be found both on the lakeside and on the internal area. Lake Garda is the perfect holiday solution if you love the nature, the sport (sailing, waterskiing, surfing, mountain bike, horse-riding, etc.), the cuisine (you can taste the local fish and the local doc wine). Lake Garda is also the ideal departure point if you want to visit the cities of Verona, Padua and Venice.
